I have uploaded Chapter 1 for Theatre/Intro to Fine Arts. And, I have uploaded the Piano - Section 1. For General Music, the file size is too large. I will come up with a solution sometime tomorrow. That means 2nd and 5th period students will have an extra day or so for their vocabulary.

I will post another update once I can work out some kinks.

Good Evening Kirby Cougars,

I have started to update everything on the site. I am going to be working on this over the next week or so. Therefore, PLEASE check back frequently so you know if something has moved or added. I am going to try to keep this updated as well for general announcements. I hope this cn become something usefull for all of us!

You all are doing SO wonderfully great so far this year, and I hope we can keep up this momentum and produce some really great work!

We have had a rough few weeks for the beginning of the year! However, we are going to make this year the greatest we can!

We have All-West auditions coming up soon, and the deadline to register is in 2 days!!!!! I need hose who are interested in auditioning to contact me ASAP and let me know so I can register you. This would have been done last week but we were not in school!

I will pay for your registration fees out of my pocket, but you will be required to pay me back for these fees. If you don’t pay me back, I will not allow you to audition! Period! I am going to do this because we are on a short timeline and I don’t know when we will all be able to get together to work this out.

I will also go ahead and purchase the rehearsal tracks and we will work out a payment option for those somehow.

Due to so many graduations tomorrow, the bus will not be there at 10:30. THE BUS WILL LEAVE KIRBY AT 12:00!!!! You should arrive at 11:00, NO LATER THAN 11:30!!! You CAN NOT be late! Also, remember this is for a grade for everyone except the seniors! If you sang at the concert, you are expected to be there! PERIOD!

Mr. Beard will be riding the bus with you, as I will already be at the Convention Center. When you get there we will go over the logistics of the program.

We will perform:
1. The National Anthem (everyone on the melody)
2. City Called Heaven, Teonna Young - solo
3.Alma Mater (everyone on the melody)

The words for the Alma Mater are also on the Assignments and Media page! Please, know them the best you can! They should be in the program for tomorrow, and I will print some copies just in case.

***Dress is exactly the same as the concert*** Black and White, BLACK SHOES. This is a "formal" event! Please, dress accordingly.

Last thing. Please give this your ALL tomorrow! This is our chance to show EVERYONE what we can do, and show them that we are ready for the great things being planned for next year!

If you performed for the concert, or are a senior who was SUPPOSED to perform and did not, you WILL BE PERFORMING AT GRADUATION!!!

This is not optional, it is not a request, IT IS A REQUIREMENT!

We will be singing:
1. Natonal Anthem
2. City Called Heaven (as requested by Dr. Hunter)
3. Alma Mater

You need to see me, or message me, for more info if you someone who is not going to be here Wednesday, or Thursday.

On Thursday, March 28, will be auditions for the solo on City Called Heaven. Also, make sure to wear ALL BLACK so we can take a picture for yearbook. If you are not wearing ALL BLACK, you will not be included in the picture!

Listen to all songs and be prepared to answer questions about each one if asked.
Learn all lyrics to "mistletoe" and "Santa Claus Boogie." You will have a lyrics quiz on these two.
